Police investigate alleged rape in alleyway beside Iceland in Queen Street, Deal

Police are investigating an alleged rape in a town centre alleyway in Deal.

A squad car is blocking the entrance to the passageway between Iceland and BonneBomb in Queen Street.

Officers investigating reports of a rape are parked up and have blocked off the alleyway between Iceland and BonneBomb in Queen Street

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police are investigating a report of rape in an alleyway in Queen Street, Deal on September 11, 2019.

"Officers are at the scene carrying out enquiries and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area close to the supermarket between 9pm and 11pm."

Police have been in the area all morning and remain there.
