The A258 London Road at Sholden is reopened after vehicle strikes wall

A driver escaped unhurt after a car smashed into a wall in Deal.

Police attended and closed Mongeham Road, while motorists were diverted for a time.

A passer-by said the vehicle overturned from the impact.

The incident at Sholden on the A258 London Road,

The road has since reopened.

Police confirmed they were called to the scene just after 2pm following reports a car had rolled over in Mongeham Road.

A spokesman said: "Officers attended. No injuries have been reported."
