Six fire crews spent several hours tackling a house blaze in Deal.

They were called to Camp Road just after 6pm.

As well as the half-dozen fire engines, a bulk water carrier was sent to the scene.

Glen Road was closed off in its entirety, with traffic unable to pass along the road between Liverpool Road and The Rise, a stretch of more than a mile.

Thankfully, there are not believed to be any injuries connected to the fire.

Crews left at 10.15pm.
