Police ask witnesses to come forward after a man was spat on by two men in London Road last Friday

Police are seeking witnesses after a man was spat on twice in Dover last Friday.

The man, in his 40s was walking along the pavement, close to the Dover and District Working Mens Club in London Road just before 8pm.

He was approached by a group of two males and two females who began to verbally abuse him.

Without warning, two of the men spat at the victim.

They continued to verbally abuse the man as he walked off.

The first male is described as white, approximately 5ft 4, with dark hair, in his late teens and was wearing a blue top and black trousers.

The second male is described as white, approximately 5ft 3, also aged in his late teens, and was wearing a grey hooded top and grey tracksuit trousers.

One of the females in the group had light coloured hair and was wearing a red top with a white handbag over her shoulder.
