KAREN STUPPLES was joint 16th in the first LPGA event of the year, the SBS Open in Hawaii at the weekend.

The former British Open champion, from Deal, carded a final round of four under par 68, for a three round total of 213, in a group of nine other players, and seven behind winner Annika Sorenstam.
