Stupples set for comeback on home turf

KAREN STUPPLES: practising hard

KENT golfer Karen Stupples is planning to make her competitive comeback at the Ladies' English Open at Chart Hills GC near Biddenden from July 5-7.

The Deal professional, who lives in Flordia, has just got back out on the course after having her first child, a 8lb 5oz baby boy in April.

Her father Alan said: "All being well, she will make her comeback in the Ladies' English Open.

"Karen played five holes recently at her local course in Orlando and before that had been practising hard on her chipping and putting. She can't wait to start playing in tournaments again."
