Toby Churchill kept his crown as men's singles champion and Natasha Greenham is the new women's champ.

These were the top results from the Walmer Open week, the unofficial tennis tournament of east Kent.

The competition, at the Walmer Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Archery Square, has been held since 1903.

Contestants this year had to cope with a searing heatwave but a total 138 players took part, with 240 games played over a week.

Churchill, a local man, became men's champion after a tight match against Charlie Croxford from north London.
