The GT academy takes place over five weekends with 15 races in total.

Saturday sees Trice take part in race one before two more races take place on Sunday which also sees the British GT Championship and the British Formula 3 Championship headline the event.

“My goal is to give this everything I’ve got,” Trice said.

“I would love to fancy my chances at the title. The field is looking very strong with some experienced racers around me.

“I’m just going to take each race as they come and concentrate on scoring high points. Consistency will be key in this championship which will help me as I take the steps up into endurance racing.”
