THREE of VC Deal’s most promising youngsters are poised to win National Cyclo-Cross Trophy titles early in the new year.

Alex Paton, Michael Butler and Max Sykes all won their respective age group races in the penultimate round in Bradford at the weekend.

This means all three will go into the final round in Derby on January 14 wearing the leader’s yellow jersey and knowing a repeat performance will secure their overall titles.
