Fifteen-year-old Johnathan Tappendon has returned to his Dover home after he was reported missing.

His father Martyn Tappendon, of Wyndham Road, launched a Facebook appeal in a bid to locate him yesterday.

He claimed he had not seen his son since 6pm on Thursday and thought he may be in the London Road area.

The teen's description was circulated and he returned home on Friday evening.

The police were informed of the incident.
