POLICE are investigating a late-night incident in a Kent town involving a taxi driver and two men.

Jon Green, police media officer, said: "It is alleged that the taxi driver assaulted a 25-year-old man in George Street, Dover, between 10.30pm and 11.15pm on Saturday, December 16.

"We would like to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity at the time and witnessed what happened."
