Police have arrested a man suspected of throwing a microwave at the windscreen of a parked car.

The 29-year-old was taken into custody yesterday on suspicion of causing damage to five vehicles in the Lascelles Road area of Dover late last month.

A car was damaged by an item thrown from a garden on Monday, September 18, and the back windscreen of the same vehicle was smashed two days later.
