Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to an attack on a 38-year-old Dover man in Park Street last month.

The man was outside the paper shop, opposite the police station, between 6 and 6.30pm on July 13 when he was stopped by a man and a woman.

The man punched him and he fell to the ground, where he was repeatedly kicked by both of the offenders, resulting in bruising and swelling to his face and chest, and a chipped tooth.

The offenders were both white and aged about 22, and the woman was 5ft 6ins.
