A body has been found in the search for a missing woman.

Police searching for Dawn Keeble from Dover have said the body of a woman has been found off the coast of Folkestone.

Officers were called to reports of a body being seen in the water off the coast at just after noon today.

Emergency services attended along with the RNLI, Coastguard and Border Force, and a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, however the family of the 63-year-old have been informed.

Mrs Keeble was reported missing yesterday, but had last been seen in the Marine Parade area just before midnight on Sunday, March 20.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
