Car crashes into Dover South BP service station shop in Limekiln Street

A fuel station is closed after a car collided with the shop on site.

Emergency services are at the Dover South BP service station in Limekiln Street (A20) after the vehicle smashed into the building.

Kent Police have tweeted about the incident and this picture, believed to be of the scene, has been tweeted by @Kent_999s.

The car ended up in the petrol station shop (2705124)

A police spokesman said: "We called at 8.52am on Monday 25 June 2018 to reports that a vintage car (Reliant Scimitar) had collided with the shop at Dover South Service Station (BP garage) on Limekiln Street, Dover.

"Kent Fire & Rescue Service have made the scene safe and SECAMB attended as the driver was reported to have had minor injuries.

"The service station is currently closed, but traffic on the A20 is not affected."
