Dover Carnival 2017 parade starts from Maison Dieu car park on Sunday, July 2

Dover Town Carnival takes place on Sunday.

Participants meet at Maison Dieu car park at 12.30pm and the parade sets off at 4pm.

The parade goes on a circular route via Maison Dieu Road, Castle Street, Market Square, Cannon Street, Biggin Street, the High Street Bridge Street and back to Maison Dieu Road.

Charities benefiting this year include Kelly Turner Fundraising, for the 17-year-old Dover girl who needs to raise £1 million for specialist cancer treatment in America.

She was made an honorary princess in last year's carnival.
