A car park was closed amid concerns for a teenage girl seen on the cliffs at Dover.

Police were called to The National Trust car park at Langdon Cliffs just after 10am this morning.

Coastguard, the ambulance service and firefighters were also in attendance.

A spokesman said: "At 10.08am, we received a report concerning a teenage girl seen on Langdon Cliffs, Dover.

"The National Trust car park at Langdon Cliffs has been temporarily closed while officers deal with the incident."

The girl is safely down from the cliffs and is in the care of medical teams.
