The 21-year-old, from Colchester in Essex, was due to fly to Jordan two days before Christmas, but never arrived.

A police spokesman said: "Following initial enquiries, officers believe Ahmed was last in the Dover area and there are growing concerns for his welfare.

"Mr Dabbour is of a medium build and has a Middle Eastern appearance, with short black hair, brown eyes, and a beard or stubble.
