Four explosives have been discovered in a field next to the A20 near Dover.

Bomb disposal experts from the Ministry of Defence were called to the scene and the road was closed by Kent Police.

A controlled explosion was carried out and the road was reopened just after 3pm.

The rusty bombs were between 12 and 18 inches long.
