Help police trace suspect in Dover

Police investigating three separate robberies in Dover have released an E-fit image of a male suspect they would like to trace.

Police believe this man is responsible for three alleged robbery offences carried out in the past week.

On Friday, December 19 a 56-year-old woman was in her wheelchair on the Barton footpath at 12.45pm when two men approached her and demanded money. She gave them some cash and they ran off towards Cherry Tree Avenue.

At at 1.50am on Monday, December 22, a 50-year-old woman was targeted in the alleyway between Castle Hill Road and Dover Sport Centre car park.

A man assaulted her and demanded money so she handed over her coat which contained no cash and he ran off. The suspect was with another man and a woman.

Later on the same day, at around 8.05pm, a 43-year-old woman walking in the alleyway from De Burgh Hill to Anstee Road in Dover was approached by two men who pushed her and grabbed her handbag.

Anyone who can help police identify the suspect, or has any information about these robberies is asked to contact detective constable Geoffrey Kirya in CID on 101 quoting crime reference ZY/41190/14.
