DOVER lifeboat has launched this afternoon to go to the aid of a female crew member on board the training ship Lord Nelson after it was reported that she had been taken ill.

A doctor is travelling out to the ship with the lifeboat crew. The Lord Nelson, which is run by the Jubilee Sailing Trust, is specially equipped for crew members with disabilities.
