The A2 near Dover was shut both ways this morning after police were called to a man needing help on a bridge.

Officers were called out just before 6.45am today and closed the A2 Jubilee Way both ways, between the A258 and the A20.

They also shut the Guston Road flyover for a short time.

The man was detained by police and passed to health professionals. The roads have now re-opened.
