A man has died after falling from cliffs near Dover.

Police and coastguard search teams found the man's body at the bottom of cliffs in St Margaret's Bay yesterday afternoon.

Witnesses called the police at 4.20pm, reporting concerns for a man spotted near the cliffs.

The dead man is believed to be from London.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
