Man from Dover charged after multiple assaults on women in Canterbury and Whitstable

A man has appeared in court accused of multiple assaults on women in Canterbury and Whitstable.

David Watson, from Dover, was charged with three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and three counts of assault in relation to offences against four women in between 2022 and 2023.

The 33-year-old, of Lower Road, is also charged with controlling and coercive behaviour and two counts of criminal damage.

He appeared before Folkestone Magistrates' Court today and was remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on July 31.
