An American man who died after scuba diving near Dover will be remembered in a memorial service.

Dr Bruce Hottum, 63, collapsed following a dive on Friday, July 21.

The New York dentist was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford where he was later pronounced dead.

The service is believed to be in Woodstock on Saturday afternoon.

Less than 24 hours later, a French man in his 40s also died following a dive in the area.
