A motorcyclist received instant medical care by nurses after colliding with a car outside Dover's Buckland Hospital.

The incident is believed to have happened after 2pm in Coombe Valley Road.

A press spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance said that paramedics were on their way when they were stood down by police.

Nurses from the nearby hospital rushed out to help the man and took him inside to be checked over.
