A MAN has been questioned after a police car was rammed in Dover's main street.
The incident happened while officers were trying to stop a motorist who had allegedly committed a traffic offence at Queen Street.
The officers signalled for the driver to stop, but he continued through the main street. At the junction of High Street with Bridge Street, the car hit the police vehicle, and drove off.
The car later crashed into a lamp post at Cherry Tree Avenue and a man was detained.
The police officers were shaken, but unhurt.
