TWO teenage boys have been injured by a hit-and-run motorist in Dover.

Police are appealing for information to help them identify the driver involved.

It happened at about 10.15pm on Wednesday, December 19, when the two 16-year-old boys were crossing the bottom of Crabble Hill, outside the Dover Daihatsu dealership.

What is described as "a medium sized red car" hit them, and failed to stop, carrying on up Crabble Hill in the direction of Canterbury.

The boys were taken to the William Harvey Hospital where one was treated for a fracture to his pelvic area and was kept in for an overnight stay. The other had minor injuries and was released without being admitted.

A bus was in the area at the time of the incident and police would like to hear from the driver, or passengers, or anyone with information.

Witnesses are asked to contact PC Tony Thomas on 01304 240055.
