Vauxhall Zafira chased by police, Old Charlton Road, Dover, four people hunted

Four people are on the run after a car chase.

Police pursued a car after it failed to stop at Old Charlton Road, Dover, just before 11.15am today (Monday).

The Vauxhall Zafira was recovered but the occupants are still being hunted.

The teen was arrested yesterday.

Kent Police spokesman Steve Knight said: "A Vauxhall Zafira failed to stop for police.

"Four people are believed to have left the vehicle and enquiries are ongoing to locate them."

The incident led to questions being raised on social media.

One person tweeted: "What is going on in Dover? Police sirens all over the town."

It is not known why the car failed to stop for police.
