Officers investigating a reported robbery at a home have arrested a man.

Brendan Kent, 35, of Fulbert Road, Dover, has been charged with committing the offence in the town’s Mayfield Avenue on Monday.

He is alleged to have assaulted a man at the address before stealing cash, a bank card and a mobile telephone.

Kent appeared before Medway magistrates yesterday (Tuesday).

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Wednesday, July 5.
