Traffic jams expected during A20 roadworks

Motorists are being warned to expect major delays on parts of the A20 during essential road improvements this weekend.

In an effort to limit delays, a planned lane closure yesterday between the York Street Roundabout and Eastern Docks Roundabout in Dover was scrapped.

There will only be minor eastbound lane closures on small sections between Western Heights Roundabout and Eastern Docks Roundabout.

It includes replacing the existing road surface on both carriageways and on all five roundabouts between the Western Heights Roundabout and the Eastern Docks Roundabout.
