Police are investigating the sudden death of a man at a home in Dover in the early hours of this morning.

Officers were called at 5.47am to the private address where a man in his 80s died.

Ambulance crews also attended but the person could not be saved.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Officers are currently conducting enquiries at the scene, as is standard procedure.

"Next of kin are aware. It is not being treated as suspicious."
