KIRSTY WALLIS: police were concerned for her welfare
FOUND: Simon Tanner

A YOUNG couple missing from their homes in Dover have today been found safe and well.

Kirsty Wallis, 16, and her 18-year-old boyfriend Simon Tanner, disappeared last Friday and their parents made desperate appeals for them to get in contact and return home.

Yesterday afternoon, Kirsty's father Kirk Wallis, spoke to his daughter on the telephone and urged her to come home. But she indicated they would not be returning yet.

He also urged Simon to contact his father, David, urgently, as Mr Tanner is suffering from a life-threatening illness which he had not told his son about.

It is understood that police have located the couple at an address in Worthing in west Sussex.
