Two teenagers have been charged in connection with burglaries in River and St Margaret's

Two teenagers have been charged in connection with burglaries in Dover and St Margaret's.

Police received a report of a burglary at an address in Lewisham Road, River, which is believed to have taken place at 5am on Saturday, November 29.

A computer tablet, phone and car keys from the address as well as a vehicle parked nearby were reported missing.

On November 19, police were called to a report of a burglary in Reach Road in St Margarets-at-Cliffe, Dover, in which a television was taken from an address.

Two teenagers from Dover were arrested on November 29.

The 17-year-old boy and a 16 year old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have both been charged with two counts of burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, driving with no insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

They have been bailed to appear at Folkestone Youth Court on January 6.
