Dover murder: Two appear at Margate Magistrates' Court accused of killing man at Cowgate Cemetery

A man and woman appeared in court this morning charged with murder after a body was found in a graveyard in Dover.

Claire Lunn, 47, and Justin Burnett, 37, are jointly accused of the killing homeless Piotr Lacheta, 55.

Police were still at Cowgate Cemetery yesterday morning, two days after the body was found

His body was found at Cowgate Cemetery, Dover, on Tuesday morning.

The defendants appeared in person at Margate Magistrates' Court.

They entered no plea during the hearing of about five minutes and were remanded in custody.

The pair, both of no fixed address, are due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court next Tuesday.
