Workmen hurt as building collapses

Two workmen were taken to hospital after part of a building collapsed.
Around 20 firefighters were called to a three-storey property in Clarendon Place, Dover just after 12.15pm Friday.
Initial reports suggested a wall had collapsed - but fire crews found that the ground floor of the property had caved into the basement.
The first casualty was pulled out before emergency services arrived.
The second was trapped by rubble but has now been freed and taken to hospital.
Antony Scott, of Dover’s Red Watch, said: "When we got there we worked to stabilise the building before going in to help rescue the casualty."
