A 24-year-old man who had been missing for more than three years has been found safe and well in Gran Canaria.

Police had released an appeal for information about the whereabouts of Sean Ward in October.

He had last been seen in the Dover area on April 18, 2003, when he left his bedsit in Folkestone Road and travelled to Spain with a couple in a camper van.

A member of the public who had seen the appeal spotted Mr Ward in Gran Canaria and members of his family flew out to visit him earlier this week.
