Frank Clarke has been a club physio for 36 years

DOVER Athletic are looking for a new physio after Frank Clarke’s decision to step down.

Clarke, who will continue as club secretary, said: "I have been working as a club physio for 36 years now and, at the age of 67, I think it’s time to give my legs a rest."

Frank, formerly physio for Hythe Town and Folkestone Invicta, added: "Being Dover Athletic secretary is becoming more and more a full-time job and Jim (Parmenter) and I think it’s time for me to concentrate on that."

Clarke has arranged six pre-season friendlies, starting with a home game against Hinckley on July 22, followed by another home game, against Lewes on July 25. On July 29 there will be a home game with Millwall, managed by former Liverpool and Chelsea midfielder Nigel Spackman, followed by a trip to Great Wakeling on August 5.
