Dover boss Andy Hessenthaler has added to his squad

Dover manager Andy Hessenthaler has ended his search for a new striker by signing Giuliano Grazioli.

The former Barnet player, who was with Braintree at the start of the season, has signed a contract with Whites that runs until the end of the season.

Although Dover have made an excellent start to the new campaign and top the Ryman League Premier Division, Hessenthaler has been patiently looking for a replacement for Jimmy Dryden, the club's leading scorer in the league last season, who joined Folkestone Invicta during the summer.

The 33-year-old Grazioli made 131 appearances for Barnet, scoring 62 times, and was a team-mate of Hessenthaler during his spell with the north London club three seasons ago.

The much-travelled Grazioli has also played for Bristol Rovers, Swindon, Stevenage, Woking, Yeovil, Peterborough and Wembley. Hessenthaler said: “I felt we needed something else up front, and Giuliano's pedigree speaks for itself. He was a catalyst of Barnet’s Conference season when they got promoted to the second division.

“He’s an 18-yard box player, when it goes in there, he will score goals.”
