Dover boss Chris Kinnear couldn't hide his disappointment after Saturday's FA Cup first round exit against Stourbridge at Crabble.

Kinnear was gutted after the 2-1 loss to the Evo-Stick Premier Division side and the pain was clear to see - it was etched all over his face.

And as for his verdict, Kinnear didn't hold back.

He said: "It's a massive, massive disappointment, but we got what we deserved really.

"At the back we weren't very good, midfield we weren't very good and up front we didn't do very well, so all round it wasn't good.

"Maybe, I didn't say that right things before the game, so we are all in it together - it was a bad day and there is no getting away from it.

"And I can assure you that it's a very disappointed dressing room."

And Dover captain Jamie Grimes was feeling the pain, just like Kinnear and the rest of his team-mates.

Grimes said: "It hurts, hurts a lot. We knew before the game that it would be a tough test but they fully deserved it.

"They turned up stronger than us and won the battle in midfield and the battle up top and they deserved it.

"We've only got complaints for our own performance because we know we are a lot, lot better than that but on the day Stourbridge deserved it and fair play to them."

Goalkeeper Mitch Walker will miss Tuesday's league game against Eastleigh at Crabble following his sending off with Andy Rafferty to replace him.

Midfielder Nicky Deverdics also limped off in the second half after injuring his leg in a collision with team-mate Jack Parkinson.
