Dover have added another defender to their squad by signing one-time West Ham youngster Emmanuel Adebowale.

The club's website revealed that the towering 19-year-old central defender has been handed a two-year deal at Crabble after catching manager Chris Kinnear's eye during pre-season.

Described as an athletic centre-half who likes to take the ball forward Adebowale came through the ranks at West Ham United before joining League 1 side Sheffield United in the summer of 2013.

During his time at Bramall Lane he was sent out on loan to a number of clubs including Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South clubs Goole AFC and Sheffield FC.
