Whites chase more cup glory

DOVER Athletic begin their search for more cup glory at Crabble on Saturday with their FA Trophy second round clash against Ryman Premier side Ford United.

Whites have developed a taste for cup success after their memorable FA Cup run this term and everyone at the club would love to have a good run in the Trophy to bring some extra income and excitement to Crabble. The next round sees the entry of all 22 Conference clubs.

Whites captain Andy Arnott will be available to face Ford and play in any possible replay, but starts a ban for his sending off against Newport prior to the league fixture at Stafford Rangers on December 7.

The length of the ban has yet to be confirmed, but team-mate Lee Spiller missed three games last month for a similar offence.
