GOAL: Jon Wallis has scored three times in Dover's opening two games

Dover Athletic 3 Cray Wanderers 2

DOVER ATHLETIC made it two wins out of two in the Ryman League Division 1 South with a 3-2 success over Cray Wanderers at SeaFrance Crabble on Monday night.

Andy Hessenthaler's side dominated the first half and took a 2-0 lead through Liam Quinn and Jon Wallis - who took his tally to the season to three.

Cray reduced the deficit after the break when Danny Whelan volleyed home, but Whites looked to have made the game safe when Jimmy Dryden added a third.

However, Dover had to endure a nerve-wracking last few minutes after Quinn headed into his own net, but they held on to send the majority of the 1,021 crowd home happy.
