John High opticians in Market Street, Faversham, burgled overnight

Burglars smashed their way into an opticians overnight in Faversham.

Police were called to Market Street at about 5.50am after the door of John High opticians was shattered.

Officers attended the scene this morning and taped off the premises.

A number of frames and sunglasses were stolen.
