Competition forces closure of sub-post office

ANOTHER post office in the Faversham area is to close. An announcement that the sub-post office in the town's Ospringe Road is to shut, comes shortly after the closure of the village stores in nearby Graveney.
Anthony Cheesewright, owner of the Ospringe Road store, blames competition from Tesco and falling demand for the postal side of his business.
He plans to turn the building into housing but has not yet set a final date for closure.
