A crash on the M2 is causing tailbacks for miles.

At least two cars, one of which was a Ford Ka, have crashed on the coastbound carriageway near the junction 6 turn-off for Faversham.

Traffic queues are building up on the M2

One car had been left stationary in the fast lane as a result of the crash and an ambulance is now at the scene.

It is understood traffic has started to move again.
