Cyclist injured in hit-and-run crash in Faversham Road, Seasalter

A female cyclist has been injured in a hit-and-run accident.

The woman, who was in her 60s, was taken to hospital with head and shoulder injuries after colliding with a white Mercedes in Faversham Road, near the Sportsman pub in Seasalter.

The driver reportedly left the scene after the crash, which took place at around 4.17pm yesterday.

Police are now appealing for information from anyone who saw the incident.

A police spokesperson said: "Witnesses to a collision that left a cyclist injured in Seasalter are being urged to contact officers."
