Motorists suffered long delays following a two-vehicle crash on the M2.

Police were called to the coastbound carriageway between junctions 5 for Sittingbourne and 6 for Faversham just before 6.10pm.

No serious injuries were reported so far, but enquiries are ongoing.

Police said there was debris on the road and so motorists may encounter delays.

Queues began to ease at around 8pm.
