Car vandalism at Central car park in Faversham and Park Road

Vandals damaged eight cars in an overnight rampage.

On Saturday morning, vehicles were discovered with their windows smashed and broken parts after the spree in Faversham.

Two of the cars targeted were parked in Central car park on Leslie Smith Drive.

They had their windows smashed and the contents of the boot strewn across the car park.

The other six vehicles were located in Park Road, with broken windows and slashed tyres.

The locations are within a seven minute walk of each other.

Police officers have launched an investigation after the vandalism

A police spokesman said: “On Saturday 8 July 2023, Kent Police received a number of reports of cars being damaged in Faversham.

“An investigation into the circumstances is underway, including a thorough review of CCTV.”
