Budding fairies are needed for a performance of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream which is being given a modern twist.

The play will be performed in the open air at Belmont House, Faversham, in August by the Hazlitt Arts Centre in Maidstone and The Changeling.

The company is looking for 10 actors to play fairies, aged from 16 to 60.

Director Rob Forknall said: “We are looking for people of all ages to come forward to play our fairies and are looking for musicians, actors, dancers, gymnasts - we are looking for the cream of Kentish talent.”

Anyone interested will be invited to take part in a contest in May from which 10 will be chosen.
